Talks & Teaching

Jean at a Library Event As well as being an award-winning author I love undertaking speaking and workshops engagements throughout the country. I have been involved in numerous book and literary festivals and have spoken to a wide variety of audiences from 10 at library readers groups to 400 at Townswomen’s Guild Annual General Meetings.

jeanintog5I am an official speaker for the Essex, Hertfordshire and West Kent Women’s Institutes as well as the University of the Third Age. I’ve been the guest speaker at The Essex Book Fair, the East London Book Festival and numerous other library events. I’ve also been the guest on Essex Radio several times. My topics range from my writing process and path to publication through to illustrated talk on Victorian East London and others drawn from my research.
